SOUNDBOX 1.3.5 - LINUX x86-64
Audiomodern

INSTALL
Extract this ZIP, open a terminal in the extracted folder, then run:

    bash Soundbox-1.3.5-Linux-x86_64.run

Run as your normal desktop user, without sudo. Close Soundbox and your audio
hosts before installing or upgrading. Confirm the installation when prompted.
A graphical dialog is used when launched without a terminal if Zenity and a
display are available; otherwise use the terminal command above.

The installer includes Standalone, VST3, CLAP, LV2 and the 1.3.0 user manual.
It checks the download, runtime libraries and destinations before installation.
No compiler, online download or administrator password is needed to install.

REQUIREMENTS
64-bit Intel/AMD Linux with glibc 2.35 or newer and libstdc++ providing
GLIBCXX_3.4.30 or newer. The binaries are built on Ubuntu 22.04 x86-64.
Python 3, Bash, tar, gzip, sha256sum and ldd are required for installation.
Runtime libraries: ALSA (libasound), libcurl, FreeType, Fontconfig and X11
(X11, Xext, Xinerama, Xrandr, Xcursor), plus their distribution dependencies.
Use an X11 desktop or XWayland under Wayland. Allow at least 1 GB free space
for extraction, installation and an upgrade backup. Large sound libraries
require additional space. Optional graphical dialogs require Zenity.

ARM Linux, 32-bit Linux and musl-based distributions such as Alpine are not
supported. Distribution age alone does not guarantee library compatibility.
The installer reports missing libraries; install them through your distribution
package manager and try again. It does not change system libraries itself.

UPGRADES AND UNINSTALL
Existing files replaced by an upgrade are backed up under:
    ~/.local/share/audiomodern/soundbox-installer/backups/
These backups are outside the plugin scan folders and are preserved after
uninstall. They can be removed manually when no longer needed.

Uninstall with:
    "$HOME/.local/bin/soundbox-uninstall"

Only files installed by this installer and unchanged since installation are
removed. Modified files are kept and reported. Other plugins, user presets,
settings, licenses, projects, sample content and sound libraries are not
deleted. If files changed, reinstall the same package before uninstalling again.
If interrupted by power loss, retain the in-progress.json record and backups
and contact support before retrying; normal caught failures are rolled back.

The included manual is the original 1.3.0 manual. This package is version
1.3.5. Sound-library downloads and account activation remain in the app.
